Nikon Planning a Mirrorless Flagship to ‘Surpass the D6’ for This Year
The Sony a1 as of late dropped, offering some stunning specs and highlights. In the mean time, the Canon EOS R5 isn’t a long ways behind, and Canon is intending to bring the leader R1 to the market in the not so distant future. What might be said about Nikon? It turns out the lead Z mount mirrorless camera will be here in 2021.
In a new meeting with DPReview, Keiji Oishi, Department Manager of Nikon’s Imaging Business Unit, UX Planning Department, talked about various things in regards to the current and future status of the organization. Exceptionally compelling is the affirmation that a mirrorless leader is in transit “to outperform the D6” in 2021. The organization affirmed that the camera will have a recently grown high-goal sensor and that they are thinking about highlights like 8K video, perhaps the most discussed specs nowadays, on account of Sony and Canon. Presumably, with the amazingly high bar set by the Sony a1 and with the Canon R1 standing ready, Nikon has a high slope to move to contend, however it seems like the organization is chipping away at a camera with specs that are close to those of the previously mentioned cameras.
